Tunda Bhuj to Thakur Kuan
Challenging terrain with cliff trails and pull-trolley river crossings.
Thakur Kuan to Mantalai Lake
Ascend to the sacred source of Parvati River at Mantalai Lake (13,400 ft).
Mantalai to Parvati Base Camp
Climb steep boulder fields onto glacier moraine to Parvati Base Camp.
Parvati Base Camp to Pin Pass Summit to Pin Base Camp
Early morning climb across glacier crevasses to Pin Parvati Pass (17,450 ft) and descend into Spiti Valley.
Pin Base Camp to Wichkurung to Mudh Village
Walk down Pin Valley national park to the first roadhead at Mudh Village.
Drive Mudh to Kaza (Spiti Valley)
Rest day and drive to Kaza, visiting Key Monastery and Kibber village.
